The GR-201B type carbon monoxide low-temperature shift catalyst is used to promote the reaction between co and water vapor to generate hydrogen and CO2 under low temperature conditions(180-260°ºC).At present,carbon monoxide low-temperature shift process is widely used in ammonia synthesis and hydrogen production plants to purify crude hydrogen and synthetic ammonia feed gas.
The transformation reaction is as follows:
CO+H2O=CO2+H2+41.9kJ/mol
The GR-201B catalyst has the characteristics of good low-temperature activity, wide active temperature range, low bulk density, and high usage strength.
The GR-201B catalyst can be used throughout the furnace or can be loaded in combination with copper zinc chromium catalysts using optimized loading methods. The best loading plan is to install GR-201B catalyst in the main part of the bed and a small amount of copper zinc chromium catalyst in the upper part of the bed, in order to fully utilize the respective characteristics of these two catalysts.
The final product of GR-201B catalyst does not contain free water, so there is no need to arrange the dehydration process during temperature reduction, and it ensures that the strength of the product does not decrease due to dehydration during the temperature reduction process.
