Why does it foam when processing?
When latex is made by emulsion polymerization, fatty acid soap is used as emulsifier, and the foaming problem is serious. Especially at the end of the reaction, when stripping recovery of unreacted monomers, foaming is particularly serious. For example, in the production process of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) flooring, a layer of PVC sol film needs to be coated.
