Silicone oil defoamer is widely used in the petroleum industry and has become an indispensable and important auxiliary agent in the production process. Due to the extensive use of strong foaming surfactants in drilling fluids, not only the extraction of crude oil is inseparable from defoamer, but also in the post-refining process of crude oil, defoamer must be used. First of all, it is necessary to use silicone oil defoamer in the crude oil distillation process. Secondly, the gas released from the top of the tower or the natural gas from the gas well contains H2S, CO2 and other impurities. When ethanolamine or (HOCHMeCH2) 2NH is used as the H2S absorption liquid cycle, a large number of bubbles will be generated, affecting the normal production. If silicone oil defoamer is added to the amine solution, high efficiency continuous operation can be achieved.
In the process of separating aromatic hydrocarbons (benzene, toluene, xylene, etc.) from crude oil fractions, bubbles are more or less generated in the cracking and hydroreforming reactions. In the hydrogenation cracking process, due to the use of water-diethylene glycol as a solvent, the latter has a strong tendency to foam, these process engineering need to use defoamer.
