Potassium catalyzed sulfuric acid catalyst VK series high vanadium type
In view of the high SO3 content of process gas in the last several stages of converter, the catalytic components of VK48 were specially prepared. The partially converted SO2 affects the balance between the different types of active vanadium salts in the catalyst. By optimizing the content of alkali metal accelerator, the vanadium content in VK48 can be raised to a higher level, and the activity of VK48 can be significantly enhanced.
When used in atmospheres with high SO3 content, such as in the later stages of a one-turn one-suction device or the third stage of a 3+1 two-turn two-suction device, VK48 has a very obvious advantage.

The addition of cesium salt as a catalytic accelerator of VK series can enhance the catalytic action of vanadium and make its activation temperature significantly lower than that of traditional non-cesium promoting catalysts. For units where the bed pressure drop rises too rapidly due to high dust intake, it is economically feasible to fill the top of the bed with a 25 mm Daisy catalyst from Weiyijia.
