Alumina Defoamer AFV-8020:

AFV-8020 is a special alumina defoamer developed for foam control in the process of bauxite smelting. The main component of this product is polyether polyol, with excellent dispersion performance, which can effectively eliminate and inhibit the red mud settlement, seed decomposition, and foam in the working fluid of the training and burning section. This product has no effect on the seed decomposition efficiency and will not cause any adverse effect on the quality of the finished alumina. Adding method: 

Continuous addition: The use of electromagnetic diaphragm pump will be the antifoam agent in accordance with the specified flow point, quantitative continuous addition.

Volume of addition:

The recommended addition amount of ores with high organic content is 15-25ppm;
It is recommended to add 5-15ppm of ore with low organic matter content;
When the foam is small, it is recommended to maintain the addition amount of 2-5ppm to prevent the emergence of the bubble outbreak.
According to the different components of the ore, the foaming capacity of the system will be significantly different, and it needs to be adjusted according to the actual situation on site.
