Use method

The black liquor washed in the pulping process also contains high-concentration fatty acid soap, resin acid soap and other foaming and foam stabilizing substances. In order to facilitate operation and improve the recovery rate of pulp alkali, the black liquor must be defoamed. 
The slurry in the papermaking process also contains foaming and foam stabilizing substances similar to the slurry in the pulping process. Air will also be mixed during the operation to generate foam. 
The presence of foam has a great influence on the paper and makes the sizing poor degree, poor quantitative uniformity of the banner, spots on the paper surface, light transmission points and small holes, etc., even causing paper breaks. 
In addition, if a large amount of foam is produced in papermaking white water, defoamer should be added to eliminate it to improve the recovery rate of pulp. 
The defoamer for paper coating refers to the defoamer added during the preparation of the coating for coated paper. Due to the presence of foaming substances such as alkali and pigments in the paint, the process of preparing the paint requires mechanical stirring and grinding.These processes will introduce air into the paint to generate foam. 
The viscosity of the paint is large and the foam is very stable.It is difficult to exclude, when coating on the paper, white spots will be generated on the paper, which will reduce the quality of the paper. 
Therefore, an appropriate amount of defoamer must be added during the preparation of the coating paper. 
On the other hand, the antifoaming agent for coating paper is different from the antifoaming agent for pulping. The antifoaming agent for pulping will be washed away during the washing section, and it is generally rarely left in the finished paper; and the defoamer agent for paper coating will be applied to the paper with the coating and left in the paper, which will affect the quality of the paper great. 
Therefore, in addition to the defoaming and antifoaming function, the requirements for defoamer agents for paper coating must also have the following requirements: there is no side effect on the adhesion, dispersion and printability of the coating, if it can improve the gloss of the paper , increase pulling speed and lubrication performance, that will be better.
