Foam Control for Cement Processing
AFG-30A is a Powder defoamer. This product contains the defoaming component of high temperature and strong alkali resistance.

Method of use:
Pour specific amount of defoamer into the system according to detail working system.
During cementing operations, due to the application of various additives in the cement slurry, foams are generated during the mixing process, which changes the density and other properties of the cement slurry, resulting in difficult to work, hard to monitor and not easy to control the density and performance of the cement slurry. There is no guarantee, and even cause fail construction.
In addition, the cement slurry containing bubbles will change the pressure of the liquid column in the well, and the fluid in the high-pressure formation will enter the annulus, decrease the blinder quality between the cement ring and cementing ,and the casing and the well wall. Even gas or Water channeling, so this kind of cement slurry must use defoaming agent to remove foam, in order to ensure the construction quality.
In addition to having a considerable water-solubility, an excellent defoamer should exhibit good flow and dispersibility in field operations under cold conditions, and it should not affect other properties of the slurry. It also should be not flammable and explosive.
