This product is a cellulose reactive sizing agent based on alkenyl succinic anhydride, designed to provide sizing (water resistance) of paper and board in acid or alkaline paper machines.Widely used for many kinds of paper production.
ASA uses starch or polymer as an emulsifier, and through an automatically controlled on-site emulsifying device, an effective and stable emulsion is formed, which is added to the appropriate addition position to provide an efficient and adjustable sizing of the paper. The general amount is between 1-3 kg/ton of paper.
