Latex paint or latex coating was born in the mid to late 1970s and is a large class of synthetic resin emulsion paints represented by acrylate copolymer emulsions. People are used to using synthetic resin emulsion as the base material, using water as the dispersion medium, adding pigments, fillers (also known as body pigments) and additives. The coating made by a certain process is called latex paint, also called latex coating. 
Latex paint is a water-dispersible paint. 
It is a paint made of synthetic resin emulsion as the base material, and the filler is refined by adding various additives after grinding and dispersion. 
Latex paint has many advantages that are different from traditional wall coatings, such as easy application, rapid drying, water resistance of paint film, and good scrub resistance.

Low viscosity of latex paint makes it difficult to apply. After using thickener, it will thicken the film wall of the foam and increase its elasticity, so that the foam is stable and not easy to eliminate. 
Various high-speed mixers, such as three-roll mills, sand mills and ball mills, are used in the manufacturing process. This process brings in a lot of air. 
In the process of using latex paint, such as air spraying, airless spraying, roller coating, flow coating and shower coating, etc. are used. In these processes, the free energy of the coating system will be increased to varying degrees to help generate foam
The hazards of these bubbles are:
1. The continuous generation of foam restricts the speed of stirring, which leads to slow progress and prolongs the production process .
2. Too much foam, so that the packaging barrel can not be full filled, affecting the packaging quality. 
3. There will be surface defects and unevenness in the construction process, which affects the appearance
Add defoamer in the latex paint production stage to facilitate foam suppression at the pulping stage, break the foam during the paint adjustment process, and have a long-term anti foaming ability during the painting stage. Make the paint quality in storage stage stable and not easy to layer.
